The grey circles in the skills’ boxes are meant to be marked, should the skill’s Learning Check fail, so you have a reminder to add +25 (or +50) the next time your character gains a level & you make a Learning Check.
The “Hexes” on the back of the character sheet indicate the amount of fields the character can move on a battlemap.
